I live without cable all the time. We have it, but I seldom if ever use it. *g*

Without cable, I don't even get broadcast channels in this apartment. I'm sitting here trying to watch the recovery news and getting mostly static and a snow field.

Living on the border between our countries I get about thirty channels without cable and it's fine by me most of the time. There are days though with inclement weather and something special on that I begrudge it.

I'd assume cable is pretty low on the repair priority list. I guess you'll have to pull out those DVD's

I would put money on the cable problem actually being a power problem. I bet it comes back on as power is restored throughout the city.

You could very well be right. Lord knows electricity will be a much higher priority, that's for sure.
