Household tip
Sheeyeah right. Me, the anti-housework one has a household tip. But, hey, it works.
Ever have problems with gnats? They get in and seem to make it their goal in life to buzz your face and generally annoy you into an early grave. Get a glass with tallish sides (I use a liqueur glass) and pour about a half inch of amaretto in it. Set it out wherever they're clustering at the moment and walk away. They swarm to it like, well, flies to honey. ;-) I've tried honey, btw, and it doesn't work as well.
Lushes all of 'em.
Still, they throw their itty-bitty lives away at the first sniff. Much as I hate wasting even that little bit of amaretto, I hate the damned gnats even more.
