Spiders Spiders Everywhere

Since my last encounter with the spider population of my house I have not seen a Type 2 or 3, thankfully. Their absence, however, does worry me. If you think about the 3 types as ranks in the military, type 1 are the grunts, 2 are the commanders and 3 are the generals.

Speaking in these terms all of the type 1's in my house (that I have seen) have consolidated their forces around the lazy Suzan in the kitchen, weave a massive web under the cabinets in what can only be described as an attempt to pool their resources for an invasion. My only hope is that I am horribly wrong and the spiders are thanking me for my generosity in not pwning them and attempting to kill all other bugs that invade my home. With any luck they will catch the occasional large bug that makes in way through the cracks they seem to find my the houses defenses.

To this end I have not swiffered under the cabinets in their general area.

On another note, my parents have decided to return from FL with a passenger...against my express wishes. This passenger is of the 4 legged variety, apparently part Boxer and part Lab. It is very young, very small, or so they have said, and doesn't bark that much. I have high hopes in turning this new addition to the family into something other than what it is...that being a pestilence. While turning it into a data dog seems less than feasible, mayhap a small guard dog that gnaws on the ankles of people I wish it to. Muwahahaha!

Oh...and my mother named it Maya. I wonder if Maya and the spiders will get along...?
