WAR 01 BATTLE 01: KILL THE NUE
Somehow, while visiting a high-tech virtual reality Edo-Japan museum, you were attacked by a vicious monster (Who knew things like that existed in Edo anyway?). For some strange reason, even though your goggles were broken, you can't seem to get out of this nightmare of Edo. You also realised that you've lost your eyesight in one of your eyes. Some random guy called Shinonome Kon tells you that the Nue took it (What's a Nue D:!?), just like they took his arm. So, obviously the thing to do is to kill the stupid Nue and regain your eyesight, and GTFO of this stupid place, right?
OBJECTIVES
* Show that you have good cropping skills, and are able to deal with colour and theme restrictions Kill that blasted Nue and get the hell out of Edo and back into your normal time period.
OR...
* Use a sick day (skip). Remember, you only have one sick day per War, so use it wisely! Feign sickness. After all, you're eye's just been stolen, you've totally got to be feeling nauseous right? Besides, who wants to kill monsters - ew, blood D:
BATTLE RESTRICTIONS
* Your icon may only feature one character. Fight as a lone ranger.
* Your icon must feature half a face of a character, and with only one eye present. Basically, a half-crop of your character of choice. Blocking out one of the eyes does NOT count. Profile shots also do not count, as technically the character might still have two eyes, and it does not display your cropping skills. You must show that you are able to deal with your handicap of half-blindness.
* Your icon must contain at least 60% of the colour red. This may be a red tint, blood splatters, red brushwork or anything else that may be used to interpret this colour scheme. Anything within the red colour spectrum will count - that means red-orange and red-magenta will also count, as long as it's borderline-red. Show how bloodthirsty and determined you are to regain your eyesight and take revenge.

REWARDS/CONSEQUENCES
* The top 10% will receive +2 points. The next 20% will receive +1 point. The bottom 20% will receive -2 point. All other participants will have their points remain the same - no gains/losses.
* There will be eliminations for this battle. The 3 participants with the lowest point scores will be eliminated from the battle.
* The top two icons will win a CITIZENS' CHOICE award and will each gain +2 bonus points. Also, two icons will be chosen to receive a GENERALS' CHOICE award and will each gain +1 bonus point. These points are added to the total point gains of the battle - therefore if you win Citizen's Choice, you'll actually be earning +4 points, etc.
