WAR 01 BATTLE 05: AT HELL'S GATE
After making your runaway from Hibari (and Mukuro), you run into...shitcakes. A bunch of weird cops doing battle with some weirdass guy with a mask that's shooting electricity at-- ohshi- us D:!! Looks like...more trouble's ahead D:...
So then one of two things could happen, because this godmod War General can make that happen.
a) THE CONTRACTORS
The three of you were not cool enough to dodge the shockwaves from that weird masked dude, and hence have been taken hostage by him. He tells you your one token out of all of this is to fight alongside him and become a Contractor! Yayyyy, awesomecakes, you get to be the BAD GUYS omg, just like Sephiroth!!1!1! DREAM COME TRUE.
b) THE POLICE
So the the three of you managed to dodge those shockwaves, and while laughing at your loser soldier friends who've been taken hostage by that...mask dude (I mean, it's funny, AMIRITE!?), a really boring and straight woman with glasses helps you all up, and tells you of the Contractors' (So that's what those creepy people are called!) plans to take over the world and that they've brainwashed your fellow soldier friends into becoming Contractors too (lol, those morons :'D). She then asks you to join the side of justice and pwn the hell out of the Contractors - whoo, winnar!
c) OSHII-- What about Mitani D:!?
Because you were awesome cakes, and are currently ranked numbah 1 in da hood, you managed to dodge the shockwave AND the boring woman. As you watch your loser soldier friends get ready to fight each other, youn wonder, "Which side should I join, HRM!?".
Basically, you have free choice - you can do either of the themes, and choose to side with either the Contractors or the Police - it's all up to you. Just uh, let us know soonish, even if you're not going to start your icon because I have to make the fourth icon for the opposing team 8D.
OBJECTIVES
* Show that you can interpret a theme without the use of text Support your side and pwn the hell out of the other!!
OR...
* HAHAHAHAHA THERE IS NO "OR". Sick days are not allowed for this battle, so suck it up, and fight for your sides. (As a seperate note, sick days are no longer allowed for the remaining duration of the war - if you do not submit, you will be eliminated.)
BATTLE RESTRICTIONS
This particular battle is extremely tl;dr, but please DO read through D:!
You may submit up to two icons this week, and only one per category - This means you can submit up to two icons in two different category. You do not have to submit two, in fact, one will suffice. It's all up to you how many you enter this week.
THE CONTRACTORS
Because you guys are evil, you get...evil. Or something or other. :D;;.
* Your icon must be themed after at least one of the Seven Deadly Sins. However many you choose to interpret is fine, as long as it's fairly obvious what you picked.
* Your icon must be textless. Can't let those blasted police idiots catch us just because we were too busy being loudmouths, can we?
THE POLICE
And of course, good people get nice, godly-like themes, yay.
* Your icon must be themed after at least one of the Seven Heavenly Virtues. However many you choose to interpret is fine, as long as it's fairly obvious what you picked.
* Your icon must be textless. Shitcakes, that mask dude and his cronies will shockwave us to heaven if we don't stfu D:!

* The deadline for submissions is TUESDAY, October 30, 2007 @ MIDNIGHT CST.
REWARDS/CONSEQUENCES
The way this particular challenge works is very, very different from any other, both here at teishoku_battle, and possibly any other battle community, so please read through it (or just submit your icon and not care at all XD).
* Voting will be divided over a span of 4 days, and will be held in 2 parts. Yes, that's a shit longass voting time, but it'll be explained!!
*The first part of the voting will comprise of voting within the Contractors and the Police. That is, there will be two voting tables, one for the Contractors, and one for the Police. This will run over 2 days. Points will be distributed for each voting table as follows:
- 1st - +3 points
- 2nd - +2 points
- 3rd - +1 point
- 4th - 0 points
*And the end of Part 1 of Voting, the top ranking icon from each table will be pit against each other in a "final showdown", so to say. This will be a no-criticism-required favourite vote, much like a tie-breaker at regular icontests. This will run over another 2 days. The winner from Part 2 of Voting will be our CITIZEN'S CHOICE icon of the week and gain an additional +2 points, and the runner-up, our CC RUNNER-UP, who will gain an additional +1 point.
*Also, all members of the winning team will gain +1 point. So say a contractor wins Part 2 of voting. Because of their win, all other contractors benefit and get +1 point; vice versa.
* Note that if a War General's icon by some uncanny chance actually wins the thing, those points vanish into thin air - your loss 8D. So make sure you make awesomecake icons that can beat mine - and sure as hell am I not going easy on you *smirk*.
*One icon will be chosen to receive a GENERAL'S CHOICE award, and will gain +1 point.
* There will be eliminations for this battle. The 2 participants with the lowest point scores will be eliminated from the battle.
