High winds and rain have just about made the snow disappear....in time for more to fall, no doubt!
Took Sassy (Boston Terrier foster dog) to the vet this morning at 7:25 am for surgery. The vet's building had no power and Sassy had no surgery but that was not why. She has a big bald spot on her left side that the vet thinks is a burn but there is no way she could have gotten a burn here and I've had her for 4 weeks. She gave birth to a stillborn pup and was given back to the husband (they were separated) and he brought her to the SPCA as he had lost his job and couldn't keep her. When they spayed her, she had a second stillborn still in her womb. Poor girl has been through a lot for a 7 year old. She had her stitches out 10 days after her spay and her side was fine. Mystery!?! So she is here again until her side heals. The good news is that the tumors in her mammory glands have decreased in size to almost nothing.
