Usually go to Soup's On each Thursday but have a rotten chest cold so had to re-arrange my plans. I phoned my doctor's yesterday and left a message. They called back at 8:45 this morning and had one opening at 1:20. Said I'd take it and then phoned Judy to tell her I would be taking her in early for bloodwork. She was supposed to go at 1pm but that wouldn't get me to the doctors so I took her an hour early.
That's when we found out Dr. Plummer also wanted a urine sample too. So Judy told the woman I already went today (how often does she pee anyway?) so the woman told her she only needed about 10 drops! Didn't know until we got to the hospital that she has a yellow card so she can "jump the line". I heard one woman say as Judy was being led away that she must be a fainter as she was going to one of the beds. Bit my tongue on that one!
So when she was done there, they gave her a big glass of ice water to drink and off to the bathroom we went with her little bottle and "hat". She could have filled two of those bottles easily. Must ask her sometimes how often she does go.
I got her home and to Oromocto in time for my doctor's appointment. Came home with a puffer and strong medicine to knock the fluid out of my lungs. If I'm not better by Monday, I'm to phone the doctors.
