OH HAI I'M BACK IN TOWN
So there are three things I urge you all to do, or rather to watch:
Community. At first I was a bit unsure if a second season could live up to the first one, but hells yeah it does. Don't get shied away by the pilot that is still a bit rough around the edges. In no time you're going to be head over heels for that study group of misfits. Yes, some episodes are stretching it far when it comes to ridiculness, but they're so lovable and adorbs and gah ♥ Never again without them.
Flatmate and me are obsessed. Obsessed, I say.
RuPaul's Drag Race. I challenge you to name a better casting/reality/competition show than this. Drag stars fighting for the title of America's Next Drag Superstar. Can it get any better than this? Furthermore, the Queens are classier than these girls from ANTM (have only seen a couple of episodes here and there), you don't feel like violating/voyeuring on their private lives (you only see them hanging out in the prep room) and hells yeah some are so frakking sexy, it's insane.
Misfits. (Do I sense a pattern here?) I knew I would love it. Since my infatuation with this British show is way too fresh I can't go any further in my appreciative descriptions yet. But let me say: don't let yourself get scared away by the synopsis. (I actually didn't read it beforehand.) It's also pretty.. well, hardcore. Strong language, strong images, violent; you name it. And SO FUNNY.
Now off to my papers again.
