Ran into Jim Weber on the way into work this morning. Wow, that's very impressive! Yeah, managers always hate the special projects that nibble away at the day to day, but I hope he comes around. Sounds like it would be lots of good challenge and exposure.

Thanks a lot. Yeah, it would be. I'm pretty optimistic, because (as Jim told me) my BBoss' own BBoss is solidly behind this.

Jim is so cool. He's giving us a blank slate, and although senior management is expecting him to come back in a couple of weeks with preliminary plans for this year, he's gonna send us instead. Which would be my first real exposure at that level. Which would be pretty frightening/thrilling.
