BPAL kindness

Well, once again I'm astounded at the kindness of the BPAL community.  I just got a lovely surprise in the mail today from chatrient consisting of an ammo case (to hold imps in) and some lovely decants/imps to go in it!  Bigtime shoutout to chatrient for that, I'm totally blown away by the generosity.  I hope someday I can build myself a nice collection and have the ability to gift people back with their wishlist stuff.

I'm also blown away with just how much of a win this whole bunch was on my skin.  I must be getting good at guessing which ones will work on me.  I was really hesitant about Miskatonic University and debated demoting it from my wishlist because booze-note scents have been going sour on me, but I'm really blown away by Misk U and glad I kept it on my wishlist.  It's such a warm, comforting smell.  I think I'm in love.  It smells like a nice hot coffee with a hint of something papery/woody.  I work in a library, so the description of Misk U always appealed to me, and it happens to be dead on.  Also the throw is amazing - I can still smell the test bit I put on my finger an hour ago from here!  DEFINITE full bottle order is in the works.  (Now I just need the money to do that...  Ahh being a poor college student.)

Tombstone also stood out as something really unique.  It's a bit masculine, so I might stick it on Ben when I see him next.  Which reminds me, I need to give him my decant of Mechanical Phoenix and force him to wear that one more.  The boy's got really good skin, let me tell you!  It was good to smell the mythical Snake Oil too.  Damn, too bad you have to age it to get like this.  And the dragons are all great, though it's hard for me to tell the difference between them sometimes.  Dragon's Reverie stood out though as something I like - big surprise, it contains amber.

All in all this was a great bunch and may lead to some bottle orders in the reasonable future.  In the meantime, I'm going to wear Misk U to work today.
