School. Argh. I don't actually have anything productive to say. Just... argh... LOL. But it's the weekend, and not just any weekend... LABOR DAY weekend. Three days of nothing. And in this case 'nothing' equates to 'sleep'.
Ooh, on actual Labor Day I am helping my dad out at the Renaissance Festival. He works at the chess booth there, and I get to go and... well, do nothing, mostly, since I don't actually play. I do get to explain the rules and answer (mostly stupid) questions. But I get paid, which is the main thing.
And, just because, a lovely meme....
fannish5:
What are the five most interesting adversarial relationships?
1. Meliara and Shevraeth, in Crown Duel. Maybe because you totally know they will get together in the end. I like them in Court Duel, too, (maybe even more) but I think that is less them being adversarial than Meliara being... Meliara.
2. Harry and Voldemort, maybe just because they are so similar and yet so different. Also, Harry and Snape, because, once again, they are incredibly similar in a lot of ways, but you don't necessarily see that. Also, you can see where it's not just the fault of one or the other behaving badly... neither is exactly saintly to the other.
3. Cap'n Jack Sparrow and Captain Barbosa. Because they are both so, so, so cool. And pirates. Which makes them even cooler.
4. Rhett and Scarlett. Though they're not actually adversaries... especially not on his side. But she does think of him as a sort of enemy for a while... or a few whiles, in between the presents. Hehe. Their's is one of my favorite relationships in general, though, so I thought I might as well post it.
5. Nathan and Lucas Scott in the first (and half of the second) season(s) of One Tree Hill. I'm a sucker for sibling stuff, especially brothers. I like their relationship even better when they start getting along. Aw!

So, I'm off to bed. I think I'm functioning on like 5 hours right now, and I am not one of those people who can do that. Especially not without decent coffee.
Oh, and new layout. I'm not sure how I like it... I like the colors/theme, but the sizing is weird. But whatever. It's good for now.
Cheers!
