If I did leave you an offering, I don't think you'd much care for it.

Because I'm so nonviolent? Don't underestimate me, I'm still alive for a reason.

But! Idle threats aside, the event is over, and with a word from your lips I'll simply never mention it again.

Who ever said I'd be that blatant about it?

If you would, let us not mention it again. There are far better ways to spend the time.

I said nothing, I heard nothing.

Now, you see, you shouldn't end sentances like that, I have an overactive imagination enough as it is.

I'm flattered, but no.

You said it. If I had ever been in agreement with Freud, I believe I'd say that it's not my subconscious that let it slip out. But I'm not. So I won't.

Freud's theories barely applied to humans, the man made no sense.

You had faith in it to begin with? Tsk, tsk, Kurama, and there I had faith in your judgement.

I'm terribly sorry to be such a disappointment.

Somehow, I think I'll get over the shock. Maybe if you leave me an offering...

Back to that again, are we? Are you certain one of your names wasn't Inari?

tehpuck September 12 2007, 21:24:25 UTC
I'm happy to say his name was established to the Shinto parthenon before I came to Japan, thank you. Of course, it's entriely possible that some of my ...'pranks' while living in the area were attributed to foxes? You never know.
