Don't worry, the four-year old senior is getting it. Are you enjoying yourself, today, Captain?

At this moment, do humor your favorite Puck enough to inform and abate my burning curiosity:

What are you doing?

I just wanted to ask how you got on with humans for so long. Did they even know who you were, exactly?

Ah, just wishing to learn from my endless fountain of sagacious knowledge?

No, they did not know me. Some, I'm sure, had a vague idea I was more, much more, than I seemed, but for the most part? None would have even believed if I told them.

So I didn't.

...hn.

What do you think they would have done if they did know? Or--what would that mean for your kind?

They wouldn't know, even if I told them. Humans are interesting creatures, I'll admit, but they have a very odd and irksome habit of only believing what they want to believe. Thousands of years ago, they worshiped me as a god for my greatness, but now... not so much, and not anymore. Honestly, I prefer it that way; cults can get so tedious.
