Planes!
Omfg yesterday was so awesome <33 Well with the exception of mom but yeah...
I got up at 9am o.o found out mom was home in which I was fucking pissed 'cause here she was all this last week making me scramble around for a ride to get me to the museum and yet she couldn't make it to her stupid Partylite meeting 'cause she overslept and didn't want to go late. So seeing as she was home she could have taken me but she had the nerve to ask me when my ride was going to be here to pick me up. And she wonders why I had an attitude towards her yesterday.
Aaanyways dad called about 10ish to give me Kevin's phone number so I could call him later to make sure he was up seeing as he was the one picking me up. I called kevin about an hour and a half later. He was up xD He picked me up about 12:30ish and drove me all the way to the Wings of Eagles Museum. I thanked him a few times for taking me even though he really didn't have to.
I walked in 15mins early but that's alright xD I saw Brenda and we got me signed in and she had me come around to the other side of the counter and introduced me to people. Then one of the guys that works with the simulators came in and Brenda asked if there was anyone on it and he said there wasn't so she had me go play on the simulator. It's a simulator where you have to try to land a plane on an aircraft carrier ship o.o Out of the gazillion times I tried it I only managed to land on it once xD
After I finished with the simulator I walked around the rest of the display hanger for a few minutes before going back out to the front. Brenda taught me how to put admissions in the computer and do the gift shop computer which really really sucked xD Admissions was too bad but the whole gift shop thing sucked horribly I couldn't get the scanner thing to work xD; Shortly afterwards a group of people came in. They all wanted to pay seperetly and I got to do it so rawr that was a pain in the ass xD After I got done with that the one dude Dave I think came over to tell Brenda that he was gonna go work out on the ramp(planes they keep outside) and Brenda asked if I'd like to go with him in which I said yes almost immediatly xD So he took me out and talked about all the planes that were out there. We then went in the restoration hanger and he told me about some of the ones that were in there and then we wandered back over to the display hanger and he told me more about the planes that were in there.
Then we went back to the front and shortly later mom was there to pick me up. I had such an awesome time <33 I can't wait till Tuesday xD But first things first I have to get my Ancient Greece project done tonight before my People to people ambassador program meeting xD
