Icon Tutorial #1
So I was trying different things to get a 'selective-color' sort of look on an icon made in PSP(8) and this was what I managed to come up with so I thought I would share this with everyone. :)

So, going from:

in 4 easy steps.
First off, I made a new layer and used #0D174A on EXCLUSION 100%.
Then I merged all. After that I duplicated the base layer twice. I moved the first layer down and the second layer to the left to get this:
Next I made a new layer and filled with #B87C58. I set that new layer on 20% DIFFERENCE.
I know! UG-LY! Don't worry. It will get better. Now I'm going to do a Curves layer. I went onto 'Blue' and changed it to Input: 38 Output: 85. I set that layer to Screen on 72%.
And there you go! Simple and painless, no?
