So I had my nursing 190 final today.
I had my Nursing 190 final today. I felt the need to blog about one of the questions.
Ahaha. Basically, some of the questions started off with random stories, scenarios and explanations about the patients. But there was one that made me go: O.o?! WTF?
It was some thing like:
A girl's family just immigrated from Afghanistan. She is in grade 3. You're a first year nurse working in an after school program watching the kids. In the playground, you notice all the kids playing except for this one girl. You approach her, and see she has a bleeding lip and a cut under her eye. It is then you find out that... HER CLASSMATES WHACKED HER UPSIDE THE HEAD WITH A FUCKING TREE BRANCH.
LIKE WHAT KIND OF QUESTION IS THAT?!
And one of the questions associated with this summary was like:
The girl is getting bullied. What could possibly cause this?
a) -- something --
b) Her country is associated with terrorists.
c) She is academically/social inept.
d) -- something. --
Like, uhhhhhhh...?!
I chose c), for the record, but b) was definitely screaming at me to pick it.
