Wewt. =D Go Go Sourdough!
Basically.. copied from my Xanga. XD Same thing, so.. uh.. deal with it.
So today was completely awesome! I got to spend all day after school with none other than Schelbi! In the flesh! hohoho. Also in the trench. XD;.. Bad joke, I know. She came home with me afterschool so that I could provide her with a ride to Lake Afton for astronomy. =o I could have /sworn/ that it was supposed to be at 7 but it was actually 7:30, and we got there at like 6:40. So we killed some time by throwing rocks in the lake deal. My dad went and took a leek behind this shack thing. XD Luckily we were totally across the feild at the time. My sisters came down and bugged us, and we all threw rocks in the lake deal. =D Wewt. Nothin like throwin them rocks. Hohohoho.
Buncha other stuff went on like when everyone finally got there n' that. =o We went inside and the first thing we did was pile into the bathroom. XD Like.. Jessica had gotten there and so her sister, my sisters, Schelbi and I piled into this small two stall bathroom. I came out of the stall and was like "dang! O. o" XD And like I exited, thinking that only my dad and the astronomer lady was out there and I was all "That bathroom has met the fire limit deal" XD And there was like basically my whole astronomy class there. Haha. John kinda stared at me and chuckled. XD.. So we moved on!
We went into the telescope room, which was incredibly cold because there was a giant hole in the ceiling.. XD Obviously for the telescope. It was so freaky, cause the ceiling moved. I was like "Whoa~!" XD. Out in the exibit area we got to look at meteorites, real ones! There was an iron one and a stone one, but no stoney-iron. And it had a display with bits of meteorite that had landed here in Kansas, and it showed where. Awesome stuff man! We also got to 'make our own telescopes'. Which was also fun. Brittany pulled it apart and it made a loud popping noise, which scared just about everyone. /Somehow/ she managed to hit the astronomer lady in the head. XD... She had the most awesomest british accent!
Next we went outside and she used this totally awesome laser pointer dealie that had a very powerful beam. She pointed out the constellations, and told us short stories-ish about them, their roman/greek names and such. It was totally awesome. My dad bought me a blow-up ball with the constellations on it. It'll really help with class, and my own thirst for knoweledge on the subject. ^.^
In the car on the way to Schelbi's house I got more time to think and muse.. but I won't go too much into that since this entry is already pretty long and I doubt any of you bothered to read it since it /was/ so long. But if you did, you deserve a candy bar. XD I'm not offering to give you one. Pretty much I've made a decision. And.. I just need to work up some courage. End of story, no more there on that. Hohoho. I shall leave you ALL in the dark. MUahahahaHAHAhaha!
