There's a Guy Who's Been Awake Since the Second World War
I'm going to be a zombie today. I've had a 15 minute nap. And I have work in less than an hour.
The boss lady has asked that I refrain from getting on the computer while the baby is awake. Not because I'm not paying him attention, but because I am. See, I often sit with the baby on my lap, playing with him while fiddling around on the computer. And so now, he comes to her when she's on the computer and she doesn't want that. So, I can only get on when he is napping. Which, kind of sucks, but I can understand her reasoning.
Fortunately, she doesn't mind if I do other things like read, or write or anything else as long as I do it from the couch or the floor and nowhere near the computer. So. I've got all 38 chapters of The Unfamiliar (Axel/Roxas) saved as notes to my iPod for reading. Should be interesting to read something Order of the Phoenix length on my iPod.
I've been logging a LOT with _tehriah. We're working on our fourth log of the year and it's at 6K already. Bringing our grand total to ~27K words. It's insane, but a wonderful kind of insane. Now I just need to apply that kind of tenacity to writing fic and I'll be all set.
