Merry Christmas Eve!
So, my weekend was not spent how I had hoped to spend it. I had planned to read DOGS, and watch Last Exile, finish writing my fic for chibi_zia and maybe start on reading the Kingdom Hearts manga.
Instead, lokojo7 and I took her daughter and my little sister to see Enchanted. *____* And then I spent the rest of the weekend at my mom's house baking cookies. a DOZEN different kinds. There's a picture beneath the cut and from left to right, back to front they are: molasses, 7 layer bars, peanut butter, sour cream (instead of sugar cookies), chocolate chip, m&m, thumbprint with black raspberry jam, brown sugar toffee shortbread, toffee bars, applesauce, moonbeam, and spritz.
It was a little insane making all those cookies. But fun. I just wish I'd not had to spend the entire weekend at my mom's, considering I am staying the night there again tonight. Which, I didn't mind spending tonight there. It's the rest of the weekend I was annoyed about. Mostly because my stepdad and I do not get along for extended periods of time.
On the amusing side, my mom's cat Wildcat, got a balloon string caught around him and ran around the house trying to escape the balloon that was following him around. Silly cat. He's part bengal and so pretty. *_*
I was chatting on AIM with Zia last night and my brother's girlfriend usurped my seat, so I sat on her lap to finish chatting. And then she (my brother's gf) made awkward comments about Organization XIII by calling them Orgy instead of saying Org XIII. Which then meant we had to explain what she meant to my mom, stepdad and my stepdad's best friend. -_-
I think I am going to go play a bit on my replay of Kingdom Hearts on expert mode. I'm about to seal Traverse Town. I finally died once and it was for not getting my potion taken on time against Stealth Sneak. :\ I'm proud though because I think I died like 80 times by this point the first time I played.
My brother is going to be here around 3 to pick me up for Christmas stuff at my Dad's house. We're going to play Cranium after dinner and before gifts. Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays, everyone.
