So. My mom works at this plasma donation center. And I happen to go there to "donate" plasma. Well, today I went in and for the second time in a row, she got me for the screening booth. So, We're going through all the normal screening stuff. You know, have you done any of these things that puts you at high risk for HIV/AIDS. Are you pregnant, etc, ( Read more... )

Back in the day, I used to donate plasma regularly. There was one lady that worked there that did the same thing. She'd say I bled so nicely, that it was a pleasure to get the needle in me.

What can you say but "thanks"?

I know. It's so weird. There's not much you can say to it. But to hear it from your own mom ups the WTF-factor.
