A new year. And a new life.
That's Chelsea and me. We became "official" as of December 20th. And the last two weeks of both of our lives have been pretty awesome. She's supportive, caring, understanding...and pretty good at Mario Kart, too! It's really nice having someone do SOOOOOOO much for you because you do so much for that person. It feels great. It's little things that show this, and it's awesome to finally have it in my life. She's awesome! ^_^
She, my brother, and I are gonna head down to Tuckerman this Sunday, too, to hang out with Matt and the rest of the crew. Pretty excited about that, and Chels is getting along great with everyone I introduce her to. So I can't wait for her to experience my lifelong friend, Matt. ;) Go easy on her, Matt... 'k?
Christmas this year was pretty good, too. I had a great time with my family spending the whole day with them in Brookland...which was different this year since I live away from there now. Just felt a little strange driving to my parents' house Christmas morning, that's all. :P And later that night, I got to experience what it is really like spending Christmas with a person that really, truly cares about me. Chels cried when she found out what her gift was... I'll report on that later! Hint: April at the Sprint Center, Kansas City, MO. ;)
So yep, for a year in review, 2008 was bleh up until the very last month and a half, but now things are incredible.
