Hi all,
Summer is good. Students are still at or visiting EA so I don't miss too many of them. I have a new project I like to call clean my @*&%ing house it is for the lose! I have been buying storage units and furniture to re-organize everything. Much more needs to be done, but I am making progress!
Work is different in the Summer. Not as many calls or people and lots of cleaning and paperwork projects to do. It is very quiet. I am trying to stick to the 8 hours a day 5 days per week thing which has helped me to regain my sanity. Too many hours working makes for a crazy Sinda. I am also more productive regarding "thinking" projects.
I am going on a long vacation soon. We are going "North". We will begin at Crater Lake in Oregon, and then who knows? I am trying desperately not to make plans as this is supposed to be an adventure vacation. I find it very difficult not to plan though I want to not do it in theory. I did some coaching with Linda and I realized that I am afraid of not getting what I need out of the trip. So, I made a list of what it is that I need from the trip. I found that it was easily obtainable and did not require any planning at all. Major goals; fun, family bonding, and time to read. Important goals; see a volcano, a cave, and a waterfall. Additionally, I want to explore, enjoy and not over think the trip.
Not much else going on. Anyone bored enough to come over and help with a project or two? I'll buy lunch!
