F5-Ties that Bind

Carrie update: Still doing better. There is talk of her leaving the hospital when they can get all her treatments and therapy sessions lined up.

Work update: This week was mostly work. My job is so stressful some days I am ready to give up as soon as I clock out. Overwhelmed is an understatement.

Movie update: We went and saw Igor and it was pretty cute. Reminded me of a Tim Burton film. Not AS good but reminded me haha we also finished One Tree Hill season 5 and damn them for such a cliffhanger.

Me update: I have neglected exercise during the past few months with all the theatre and traveling back and forth, but John and I went walking night before last and walked a mile at the track, that made me feel better. I have also been thinking...maybe I should take the alternate route and become a teacher, does anyone have any info on this? Know anyone that did it? Michael and I still plan to open the dinner theatre but it is just taking longer than expected. This week was nice because I got to spend time with John, Michael, my grandparents, Kevin, and Michael's family. I also got started on cleaning my dirty house.

1. “My hands are tied” is an English-language cliche that means “I’d like to do something about this unfortunate situation, but I don’t have the ability or authority.” In what current situation do you feel your hands are tied?
2. Railroad ties are the evenly-spaced slats that lie perpendicular to train tracks and whose function is to hold the tracks in place and to distribute the weight of the train. Who are the railroad ties in your life?
3. What are your feelings about Thai food?
4. Whose thighs do you admire?
5. A red tide is a proliferation (in ideal circumstances) of oceanic algae that often seem to discolor seawater and threaten other sealife. If the ocean is your life and the algae the harmful attitudes, thoughts, or moods that crowd out the good stuff, under what conditions in your life is red tide most likely to become a problem?

3. What are your feelings about Thai food? Actually, never tried it.
4. Whose thighs do you admire? Ummmm...Angelina Jolie I guess lol

Anytime I get in an argument/angry or am stressing at/about work.

Thanks for playing! I’m looking forward to reading your thoughtful answers! Have a tie-riffic weekend!
