Shaving your head

Today I desided to shave my head, serveral important lessons where learnt
I set off well, razor and shaving cream in hand,  the first lesson that came up is a) always have a sharp razor, I kinda realized my razor was getting a tad blunt after I took out a couple of nice chunks.. and then I fould out someone had thrown away my spare blades (I have an old school metal razor which uses the tradition razors) needless to say I wasn't impressed, but anyway, I found a disposiable and soldiered on... essh, the next thing I learnt was b) have someone helping, serriously shaving the back of your head is FAR from easy, imagine if you will shaving your pubes blindfolded you know the layout, you know where everything is..but you don't really want to slip it up
this lead of course to the last lesson, scalp cuts bleed alot!
and of course the final lesson is when all else fails d) have a nice hat on hand. my scalp is currently a mix of shaving rash and cuts... it should recover and I'll look OK in a coupe of days when a tad of regrowth will hide uneven shaving...but yeap...hat time
