“Thank you, ma’am.” Hyukjae fetched the test paper the teacher is currently distributing after received compliments from her. He looked at his score and felt quite satisfied with it before sat down back on his seat.
Sungmin saw Hyukjae’s paper when he got back and sighed, “See, you get the best score again.”
Hyukjae could only smile at his friend while peeking through Sungmin’s test paper.
“That’s good, you know.” He tried to encourage Sungmin. Though not fully happy even after hearing his friend’s words, Sungmin curved a smile and nodded.
They then watched the expressions of their classmates who received their test papers. Some cheered, some looked unsatisfied, and some were expressionless. There are even people who smiled dumbly to their seatmate and said some kinds of words, “Wow. I’ve got three zeros in a row.” Which made both of Hyukjae and Sungmin stared in disbelief. They totally envied those peoples’ confidence.
“Attention, student.” The teacher spoke when everyone have got their test papers. They’re currently settled down on their seats but not so quiet for the teachers to speak.
“I’ve got an idea in mind for this class.” The teachers spoke and some students sighed. They knew that idea of the middle aged woman might not be good. “Seeing how even the ratio of good and bad scores this class gets, I’ll apply a student and student tutor activity” The teacher announced proudly and the students’ sighs earlier turned into a wild crowd.
“Silence!” The teacher exclaimed. “I’ve arranged the parings of each of your tutor or people you’ll be tutoring. Before you ask, I made the list according to absent number so I’m not being random or biased to anyone.
The teacher quickly mentioned the pairings to prevent any crowd in the class. As expected, the students carefully listen to the names the teacher mentioned.
Hyukjae was actually delighted with the teacher’s idea. He loved helping people especially in something he had majored. He knew that he’ll be the one who tutor someone arranged for him, and the fact made him happy.
On the other hand Donghae and Kyuhyun they didn’t like it a bit. For Donghae he didn’t like studying and the fact that he will be tutored by someone in something he didn’t like was a complete hell. While Kyuhyun didn’t like the idea because he knew that he’ll be the one who tutor someone, thanks to his genius brain and the fact clearly showed that the classmate will be tutoring wasn’t Hyukjae.
The other fact that irritated him was Hyukjae will be tutoring someone.
Names by names mentioned by the teacher and Kyuhyun wasn’t quite focused with his pairing because he only anticipated who will be paired with Hyukjae. In mind he had planned warnings he will be giving to the person regarding the said guy.
“Lee Hyukjae, you will be tutoring Lee Donghae.” The teacher spoke quickly before proceeded to the other names.
Hyukjae turned his head to Donghae’s direction reflexively after he heard his name paired with his. He was actually a bit irritated at Donghae after the incident when his precious strawberry milk was stolen by the said guy. But being a kind guy as he was, he tried to forget the incident and inwardly promised to himself that he will be a nice tutor for him.
Donghae on the other hand didn’t listen even a bit to the names the teacher mentioned. He didn’t even care about the tutor thing and thought that he would just ask to the person he will be paired with not to care about the activity.
It was before he received a loud, painful slap on the shoulder from his seatmate.
“Yah!” He reflexively exclaimed and brought his hand on the shoulder that had been slapped by Kyuhyun to prevent any other abuse.
Kyuhyun stared at Donghae with mixed expression on his eyes. “I’ve got an idea.”
Donghae could only quizzically eye his best friend.
“I could just visit your house when you and Hyukjae do the tutor thing there and join you two!” Kyuhyun said before he curved a smirk, “God is so generous to me.”
Donghae eyed Kyuhyun in horror and at the same time was confused, “Wait, I’m paired with Lee Hyukjae?”
And he received a nod from Kyuhyun. He mentally face palmed as he knew that he would be receiving so much problems.
By then, the teacher had mentioned all the pairings and she continued to speak,
“To make sure that you all really do the tutoring, you have to record minimum of 30 minutes of your study with your partner in every meeting and summarize the materials of your study and collect them to me. Before you ask, the minimum of meeting is three times in a month. So next month, I’ll be collecting the records and it have to be minimum of three records, I’ll score them. Any question?”
The students were silent and no one were able to speak. Lot of them were thinking of the same thing,

Hearing no response from the students, the teacher spoke again,
“Now that there are 30 minutes left, you may now discuss with your partner how, when, and where you’ll be doing the tutoring” Those were the final words of the teacher’s because she left the class after.
Kyuhyun nudged Donghae and spoke, “Make him come to your place in every tutoring.”
Donghae turned his head facing Kyuhyun and looked at him with an odd facial expression,
“Do you think I’ll be really doing this so called activity?”
“Of course. I insist you to.” Kyuhyun smirked. Donghae sighed and let his seatmate be.
On Sungmin and Hyukjae…
Hyukjae was noting something on a piece of paper about the plan. He knew that Donghae would not like to do the tutoring for more than 3 times. So he was planning on doing it 2 times in his own place and once in Donghae’s. But because he was delighted with the tutoring itself, he will be wiling if the 2 times would be on Donghae’s place.
Sungmin was paired with a quiet girl and he’d be the one who tutor. The girl named Lee Maeyoung approached his table silently. Although Sungmin is not as delighted as Hyukjae he was still wiling to share the knowledge with someone. So when the girl approached him without saying anything, he was the one who explained and planned for the activity.
After satisfied about his plan that was noted in the paper in a complete way, Hyukjae began to approach Donghae’s table, he stood before him handing the paper and spoke the words,
“I’ve plan a few things and schedule them. You may look and see if it’s fit your time too. I’ve made it on Saturdays but Sundays will be fine as well.”
Donghae looked at Hyukjae for a moment before examine the paper slightly. “Can you make them all in my place?” He asked casually.
“No, it would be unfair.” Hyukjae had expected before so he casually but quickly said the words.
“Why don’t we make it four times, so three times at my place and once at yours?” Donghae said again now while eyeing Hyukjae.
Hyukjae was clearly not stupid. He knew that if it worked that way, it would just end up doing it three times in Donghae’s place and none at him. Donghae definitely wouldn’t come at the fourth tutoring.
“No. I let you choose now. Two times in your place and once in mine or vice versa.” Hyukjae said slightly firm. He may be kind, but he indeed was serious in studies. And something like Donghae did was irritating for him.
Kyuhyun said something lowly to Donghae. Donghae stopped as he was thinking something in mind.
“Okay, I’ll choose the first one. Just don’t bother me anymore.” Donghae finalized it and Hyukjae got back to his seat feeling satisfied with the deal.
Donghae on the other hand was confused himself and wondered if Kyuhyun’s saying had some kind of magic spell in it because he just continued to obey.
