For the better part of the last six years, I've really wanted to go skydiving. And, for the same part of those last six years, I've been way over the weight limit that my friend
John Hawke was comfortable taking me with. So, armed with a newfound confidence, and a lot less of me, I completed on that goal today, three days in advance of my 30th birthday, giving me a great kickstart into the next decade in life.

Just to prove how crazy a stunt this was, my dad wore the personal GPS device that he keeps on him when he runs (it measures heart rate, location, distance, etc) so that he could go back and check it once he got on the ground. Under the cut are two images, one displaying the graph related to time (heart rate, elevation and speed) and one related to distance. Basically what we learned is that when you jump out of a plane, you go really fast and your heart races. Shocking, I know.
Seriously cool -- check 'em out!
