(no subject)
I had my first "ohmidgodthisisaporncompany" experience today. Very exciting.
I was standing in the lobby buying stamps to put on my tax envelope so that I could mail them today. A guy in a suit was standing next to me waiting to talk to the receptionist. He had a catalog of some sorts in his hands and had asked to see our Traffic Manager. I don't know what a Traffic Manager is, so don't ask me.
Guy in Suit: What do y'all do here?
Me: We're the parent company of Adam & Eve. Have you ever heard of it?
Guy in Suit: No, I can't say that I have.
Me: We're the world's largest adult retailer.
Guy in Suit: Really? Hrm. I'll be right back.
This is the point at which he goes outside, gets in the passenger seat of the green Suburban he had come in (with South Carolina tags), and speeds off.
Let's just say he didn't come right back.
Funny. I forget some times that people have issues with what we do here.
