poetry came through this time
I've been busy, recently, and so I apologize for the dearth of updates; if it's not working or schoolin' or student unionin' or just plain bein' lazy, I haven't got around to updating in a while.
- Summer was alright. I enjoyed working at Salty's, but I'm not sure if I'll do it again next summer. I got laid off in October, but that's all good because...
- I've been volunteering with the Student's Union. I'm their External Co-ordinator--in Penticton there's a lot of work to be done and not a lot of people to do it. I really enjoy it, though, and think it's really rewarding. I also get an honourarium that is way better than what I was making working at Wendy's last year.
- Amongst all that, I've still got college. I'm hammering away on second year alright; really enjoying english, sociology, and political philosophy. Next year I'm thinking of moving to Vancouver, but I don't really have a good plan for that.
I've been packing tonight to go to Vancouver, as I'm seeing Stars twice, in the same day, on Saturday. I'm going with a friend of mine named Jenelle. I'm also going to the CBC Radio Orchestra with Jenelle and Lu, who I can't wait to see again--haven't talked to her much since she moved out to big old Vancouver. I'll probably run into other faces there, too; if you live in Vancouver and wanna hang out, let me know!
I'm hitting the bus tomorrow--expect some starsian updates this weekend!
