Okay a semi update.
Brian's in Japan for the week. Today Edguy is opening for Hammersfall in Mass but I can't really afford to go since I'm paying for a new computer and plane, hotel, & car for Progpower USA in Sept. Next week is Gigantour in Poughkeepsie. Following week is Gigantour in Mass. But Mass is on a Friday which is pretty impossible for me to go to. Plus Brian, his roommate & girlfriend, and myself are all going to the Yankees game that my company is doing ($35 for bus + ticket so not bad at all) the following Saturday which leaves at 8 in the morning.
Music I've been listening to: Just dled Octavia Sperati. Interesting band. Norweigen with a fully female line-up. Sounds somewhat like The Gathering did a few years ago with more Lacuna Coil like songs. Also listen to Die Form nonstop. Which is a French gothic (often sado-masochistic themed) industrial band formed way back in 1977 with a female opera singer doing lyrics and an artist doing the music. Quite awesome and I can't figure out who recommended them to me as I had an mp3 on iTunes and just one day finally listened to it. Think that's the only really new stuff I'm listening to. Haven't been dling much or talking to people to hear about some new stuff I should check out.
Life's been quite repetative. I work, hang out with Brian, play Guild Wars, or sleep. That's about it.
