Woot!
Had my first day at work and it was great. My boss loves me. ^.^ He actually said "I love you".
The one other person I worked with was really nice. Evidently she is like second in command(not officially) so it's a big deal for her to like you. Boss was amazed I picked everything up so fast and the day actually went by pretty quickly.
I work again tomorrow and then on Saturday. Training is only 2 days. They expect me to know how to do it all in 2 days! *dies* We make our own food which doesn't look too hard. No baking though, all the pastries come from Atlanta Bread and incidently, the pound cake is from the same place Starbucks gets theirs. =p
I like it so far. There are only 5 other employees including the manager and everyone seems really nice. Most of our customers are from inside the store and they all seem pretty nice too. The only thing I really need to work on is speed. I've been out of work for 9 months so I gotta get back into it.
Still waiting to hear back from the jewelery company. They said they'd call me by the end of the week. Here's hoping. My boss said he's gonna give me a sort of set schedule so it will work out perfectly to get a second job.
