second art!
oookay, SECOND art post! I'm on such a Harry kick with the ending of DH and all that its ridiculous.
Also, it's pretty much official that I cannot draw Sirius at any age without a cigarette. They just kind of find their way there. IT'S WEIRD.
FIRST: Young Remus. I've been doing Marauders art for...like...5 or 6 years, and I could never get Remus right at all until I realized he was gay and read Shoebox. I drew this a year or so ago after a SBP reread, was very pleased with it, and promptly spilled tea all over it. Ah well. I still like it.
SECOND: Post-Azkaban Sirius. Whom I never draw because Gary Oldman is awesome and no one could do a better job...well, it's a shot.
THIRD: Scribble of the pups in...fifth or sixth year, I'd say. I originally just wanted to work on foreshortening, but I realized foreshortening - model = BAD IDEA. So it evolved and is not super-foreshortened as originally intended but whatever.
Oh, that head between Sirius's legs is not a dwarf/house-elf/baby/tiny faceless Remus but a Jedi that I didn't have the heart to erase. I need to learn to use blank paper.
PS: Foreshortening tips are so appreciated.
