S'good to be the Spoony.

Yeah, I was pretty angry when I wrote that last entry. Some of it was probably a little hasty, but I still stand behind my general disapproval of the whole thing.

But enough of that nonsense. Life is good.

I'm still working up at the Kennedy Space Center, and still portraying the space man. I like the work. I like most of the people I work with. The pay is nice. And I get plenty of downtime every work day to read or do whatever. Naturally I don't want to still be doing this when I'm 30, but for where I am now, it's great. It's easily the best job I've ever had.

School is going really well. I had a bit of a rocky period about a year ago, but I've completely straightened it out, getting mostly As and a few Bs ever since. If all goes according to plan, I should be finished by Christmas 2008.

I'll be living at home for at least that long, and making the hour-long commute to school. It probably sounds like a pain, but the drive is really easy to get used to. After two and a half years of it, it feels like nothing. Plus not having to pay for lodging and food really, really eases the financial burden, considering that I pay my own tuition. It also helps that I get along with my parents really well. They don't hassle me for no reason, and I'm not in the habit of giving them reasons.

So things are good. And somehow, I thought this entry would take up more space. Weird.
Anyways, I'll try and update this thing more often.

Peace.
