what to write!!

Now that Podmore is travelling abroad, doge has got it in his head that I ought to be trained to be a proper - artifact hunter I guess is the word (?) in order to help run the store better so he's got me doing all sorts of crazy things like reading lots of books about it and practising my charms and transfiguration and stuff. It's kind of like being in class again actually but it isn't so bad, he says if I do well i'll get to go on a trip of my own which should be, err, interesting. The only thing that isn't so great is now i haven't got anyone to go to the pub with because Podmore's gone and my roommates are always working but I don't think that any of us really have that much spare time anymore anyway. Nobody ever told us that once you leave school it was going to be all work all the time!! I would've liked at least a warning!
