Kirsten Dunst is not hot enough to be Mary Jane Watson.

Not bad. Not bad at all.
Gwen was spot on (as in, she looked like Gwen Stacy). But I guess the whole foxkids thing put MJ in the lead... plus the fact Gwen dead like a million years ago and MJ's been the beloved all this time.
Harry didn't die from the effects of the Gobby formula but I was ok with it.
The Venom symbiote wasn't introduced they way it was in the comics, but I'm ok with it considering the orignal storyline involved a lot of shit. Shit fucking happens in the Marvel universe. er....multi-verse.
Brock Jr modeled after Ultimates only a little older was ok. They really should have built him up more. Like have him bond near the end so it would lead into Spider-Man 4. Plus shown how he loses his apartment and everything else. Would've been nice if he had been in the Church to apologize for the suicide he was contemplating, but hey, it's a remake.
Loved Flint Marko. he was never really a bad guy, just...shit happens. Plus he does become a hero for a while, but... how a nigga eat man. [When I read Spider-Man: Reign, I have to admit, that shit touched me a little on the inside - the part with Marko and his daughter I mean].
I find myself defending remakes more and more. A part of this is probably because their are a shit load of alternate universes and I put my mind into "This isn't 616 or ultimates universe, so it's ok if some things are different" mode.
