Got a little bit of writing done this morning ^_^
Really, going over what I had written down and starting it back up wasn't nearly as painful as I thought it would be.
But still...
Why is it so hard to revist my old work? I think I have a grand total of one story I can read through without cringing. It's even worse for unfinished works. I have a hard time completing anything because having to go back and re-read everything to figure out where I'm at, and it's usually a process akin to having dental work done sans novocain. Somehow my stories are never as good in writing as I picture them in my head.
And why is it getting worse? People generally improve at something the more they do it. Why does each word I put down make my writing more painfully embarrassing to me? And why do I feel like the writing itself is getting worse?
Oh well, I gotta get going to work. I'll get back on that particular horse later.
