ARGHHH!
After the shenanigans with me not being paid enough money at work (thanks for working that one out Jess!)
I've been trying to achieve something called 'spot pay' this means you have to be working above your targets for 3 months, and then get paid more to do the same work. So it's just a small pay rise really. It's a small rise I'd quite like, though. I've been doing ok recently, 2 months down, everything was going ok, but then today, BOMBSHELL.
4 pieces of our work get checked for quality every month, and I just got a zero score. which means I did something catastrophically wrong. NOOOO! I could almost see a little imp run up to me, grab the spot pay, and run off with it, chittering slightly. The reason I failed the check was that it was my first call, on a Monday morning. Not my best time. I buggered up royally, didn't help the customer at all and let it wash right over me like an idiot. She might have well spoken to a banana for all the good I did.
Action needs to be taken.
Everyone on the floor says I'm a right miserable git in the mornings. I'm always hella tired, bit slouchy, not really on the ball. This needs to change if I'm going to be paid more and finally clear all of my debts to Jess! The action plan is thus:
1: Start eating breakfast. Ok so not eatng saves a small amount of money and time, but food might just perk me up a bit.
2: Walk new way to work. It's slightly longer, but The Avenue has many more trees, and might cheer me up a bit.
3: Listen to inspiring, wakey-uppey music in the morning. Currently it's either Rammstein or System in the mornings, bit too angry.
4: Get up a bit earlier, at a regular time. Spending a bit more time waking up gracefully every morning might make me a bit more sociable so early.
So we'll see how it goes, eh?
Can't believe I buggered up Spot though...don't know if I deserve Black and White 2 now...
