With no explanation for the change of course, the Doctor woke Martha up with a surprise.
"Who is the pretty red head?" Martha asked him.
"Romanadvoratrelundar," Romana interrupted.
"Romana for short." The Doctor had a wide smile on his face. "And you're ginger now! I love it!"
Romana, a bit hyper, replied, "And your tongue... is fantastic!"
"Thank you." He blushed. "I would have prefered the ginger."
"I would have prefered that fantastic tongue," Romana teased.
Suffering through the exchange, Martha rolled her eyes. "So I take it she's your ex or something..." she said to the Doctor.
"Yes... or something," the Doctor said, gazing longingly at Romana. "Romana, may I lick you?"
"Oh, seriously, I thought you'd never ask!" she exclaimed with a lascivious grin.
The Doctor licked her, and they made time babies, and Martha never once complained about being the Doctor's soulmate!
