I love being a cook. Actually, what I really love is being a GOOD cook. I enjoy knowing the right people and and getting into the most exclusive places. I wanted to take my dad to Black Salt before I left the country, the new place JB just opened up. It's full every night, you have to make reservations at LEAST a week in advance. I called them today at 3 o'clock and got a table for tonight at 7, right in the middle of the rush. I'm not exactly a big-shit, executive chef, but I know people, and I know how to manuever. Life is good.
