We always have the televisions on at CTU and for some reason they're generally turned to FoxNews.

I stopped watching television news a long time ago when I realized they were more interested in covering who the president slept with than actual news.

(And no, this doesn't come out of some political bias. I'm an Independent but if the Republican party could remember it was once the party of small government and fiscal responsibility and tell the Christian Right to shove it, I would vote that ticket in federal elections.)

Now I just get my news from newspapers, journals and PBS. In fact the only television I watch these days in mainly PBS because the vast majority of commercial television is just crap.)

Back to my point. I tried watching FoxNews and could barely stand five minutes of it. The mini screens, the annoying talking heads, the sensational crap they call news and the scrawl! Do they assume all television viewers suffer from ADD?

I finally snapped at someone to turn to another station and they're all just as bad now - I didn't think it was possibly for television "journalism" to sink any lower but once again it has left me surprised.

Heh. Vicky's right I am 45 going on 90.
