Ok, so in Tetris DS in 'Standard 2 Player' over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connect, which is Nintendo's internet game matchmaking service for internet enabled Nintendo DS games, I just went 11 to 1 against some guy with a Japanese name. That's right I destroyed him. That's not the signficant part though. It's that my opponet allowed it to go that far. My opponet is free at any time at any time to just turn off their DS and exit the game or for that matter just finish the game and then find a more suitable opponet. Tetris DS opponets are a dime a dozen and come in ALL skill levels from uber n00b to l33t Gr4ndm4s7a! My opponets as well as myself all exercise this option. So quite obviously this gamer choose to stay and play with me.
Either I must have struck a cord with this gamer and had be come a challenge for this person to over come or this person was just enjoying my company regardless of whether or not they were winning...
Regardlress, I really enjoyed having such a long gaming session with this particular person. Typically, sessions are 3 or 4 games, once one person takes the lead the other drops out and finds someone else to play against and I'm no exception. I really kinda felt bad just continuing to defeat this person game after game after game, but if it was someone that wanted to try to get just 1 win against me well I didn't want to deny them the chance. And finally it did happen, match 8 or 9 I lost. We were both doing pretty badly (on the top screen I can see my opponets screen) and I miss dropped a couple of pieces so that made things worse and then the pieces got piled to high and I lost. But I came back and won the next 4 games in a row i believe.
Anyway, I had a lot of fun and wanted to write about it. So, yaye!
