Photo editing
Geez.... I haven't posted an entry for, what, 3-4 months now? Gah... what's wrong with me.
Well, it isn't like I don't have stuff to post about, but I didn't want this journal becoming either an 'Amusment of the Day' or 'Gaming Night Announcement' center. Not that either are bad things, but I do not want them being the majority!
Enough banter though! I need help!
I got a swanky new digital camera for xmas this year. It's got 7.1 jigapixies, has the look and feel of a DSLR (without the price), and has a parallax distortion free eyepiece viewfinder (again without the price of going DSLR)!
But, i've got a problem, in order to post these pictures I need to resize and compress them from the 3 meg per picture format to a few dozen kilobites, so I can pass them around.
What software programs do you use for that?
I mean, I know I can use photoshop to do it. It's like $1000's for a legit copy of Photoshop and even then i'm buying billions of image and photo functions I won't ever use or need.
The software that came with my camera is crap. So I need your suggestions, thanks!
