na it dosen't, if its lieing dormant in our DNA then it's already been defeated befor and just passed on, a very large chunk of all human DNA is just "waste" DNA, and certian types of viruses depenind if they are lytic or lysogenic (or infact both) but basicly lysogenic viruses cut themsleves into your DNA and they can never be removed (HIV Herpies etc)

I was merely making the statement implying that this is the only start to many experiments on retroviruses that have a huge potential to wipe out the human race.

the start? haha, the russians combined ebola and small pox basically creating the worst virus/bacteria ever a small leek occured and killed almost eveyone in the lab lol

Would have been more interesting if they had used two viruses that we've never seen or heard of/have an immune response for. (With possible aid.)

Kind of hard to relay my idea/thoughts on it when I dont know all the lingo used...something you clearly have a better grasp on.

We have no medical grasp of ebola or the know how to stop small pox spreading effictaly, it's all the same really and tbh if it's alrrady in our DNA then we have defeated it befor.

I study this sort of stuff at uni so i would have a pretty good grasp on it :P

Yeah. I have only what I remember from science class. But you have to admit the possibility that its only a stepping stone to something that could potentially end most human life.
