OMG; I JUST SAW A HUGE METEOR STREAK ACROSS THE SKY!

I'm at least 80% sure it was just a regular meteor, the kind that burns up in the atmosphere. As for the rest:

5% is "well, maybe it was a helicopter going to the hospital's landing pad", but A: it was moving way, way too fast for that, and B: the normal flight path is much more to the east; it was coming from south-east, going north-west, and C: no helicopter noises.

5% is "OMG, THE ALIENS ARE COMING; AREN'T THEY?" but that is mainly because I'm on a bit of a Torchwood streak right now, and with the direction it's more like they are leaving anyway.

10% is "OMG; IT'S THE END OF DAYS; THE RUSSIANS/TERRORISTS/WHOMEVER ARE STARTING WOULD WAR 3 AND NOW WE HAVE TO LIVE IN A NUCLEAR WASTELAND!!!11!!" but why would they send rockets towards Oslo first? Does not compute.

1000000000% is "YEAH OK; SO IF I HAVEN'T BEEN KILLED BY A PRESSURE WAVE BEFORE I FINISH TYPING; THEN IT*S PROBABLY NOT THE PLOT OF DEEP IMPACT; ARMAGEDDON OR F_ING 2012 WE ARE LIVING IN RIGHT NOW" because, really, with the earthquakes and everything, I wouldn't be TOTALLY surprised if it was trufax.

I have seen meteors before, only one that was this bright though, and they are SCARY. Usually, I forget that we are just a few thousand kilometers from space rocks capable of destroying all life as we know it. The question is, when it happens - are you going to die happy knowing that you lived your life to the fullest? My answer is, right now, NO.

so much meta it hurts my brane, angst and horror
