HI GUISE.

This is YOUR PAL TEGU here with an offer you cannot refuse, and that offer is: Play at edensphere.

It's kind of an awesome game. The premise is that your character hatches into the game world--as an amnesiac, remembering only a dream (written by the player that can be a scene from canon or, as I generally do, a massive mess of symbolism), forced to name themselves and make their way through Edensphere--a world composed of a massive oak tree encased in a glass sphere, with wildlife scaled to match. And if you take the elevator down past the tree roots, you'll find yourself in a series of unsettling places: The City Without Walls, where commerce and civilization happen on flying islands; the Scrapyard, where you can find anything, absolutely anything, with the caveat of it being broken first and you might have to fight a rust monster for it; the Wilderness, a constantly-changing space--one month it's a ballroom, the next Las Vegas, the next a moon base; and the Fourth Floor, a place the elevator takes you when you least expect it, oftimes to show you (and everyone around you) a piece of your past. Whether or not this is preferable to the usual method of regaining memories--random chance of a piece of mineral granting you a few minutes of memory in exchange for something (usually your dignity) is up for debate. And the tree itself seems to have a will of its own, if you follow me.

And our players and cast are fantastic--the adventurers who explore the ever-shifting Wilderness are led by Roy Mustang (Snap--every character must name themselves in Edensphere) and include Badou Nails, Abarai Renji, Harry Potter and Tommy Shepard. Yoruichi is head of the guard, with Sam Vimes her second in command (until he started up a Watch all on his own), and including Yachiru, Krile and Kakashi. Inara runs a spa staffed by Grell Sutcliffe, Haku from Spirited Away sells magic and charms while Ukitake runs a tea shop and Sha Gojyo a bar. The Scavengers who brave the Scrapyard so you don't have to include Romanadvoratrelundar, Billy Kaplan, and, of course, Sho Minamimoto. Miles Edgeworth does general administration alongside Lezard Valeth, head of the clinic whose staff includes Rukia, Simon Tam, Lavi, and my main, Cecil Harvey.

There're plenty of other quirks making the game fun--for example, your character can hatch alongside another and be considered siblings--my Cecil is the younger brother of our (made of wincakes) Sephiroth, and yes, it is exactly as awesome as it sounds. They currently live in what we've dubbed the FF Frathouse with what is the platonic ideal of a Ramza from FFTactics. There's always interesting events--some surreal but beneficial, such as Nannerpuss handing out pancakes, others nonsensical (having theme music, virgins being followed around by unicorns, everyone being forced to write in flowery purple prose, and WAKING UP WITH THE KING), and some being deadly serious--fire ant attacks, for example. I haven't even scratched the surface, either. It's really rather insanely fun, I find.

Plus, we have Power Rangers.

Annnnd the reason I'm advertising is that our two-month app schedule is coming around--reserves open on January 6th and apps are open on January 13th. And I would really kind of love canonmates--I play Cecil Harvey from Final Fantasy IV (he goes by Paladin here) and Seymour Guado from Final Fantasy X (calls himself Animus), so I would LOVE a Yuna, a Kain, and/or a Rosa. In fact, I would kind of maybe kill for a Rosa. PLEASE.

Any and all comments and questions please ask and I shall answer!
