i picked up a 2nd job sort of. just for the past few days and next week. my youth minister rents a duplex and the renters on the otherside moved out so his landlord was going to have someone do just a bit of painting outsideof the house to make it look its best for prosepective buyers. when i got there and started painting, he had some time to look at the house and realize that the owners really didn't care at all for the place. the carpet was completely stained with dog urine to the point that, once the carpet was up, some of the wood was actually soft and the rest of the place hasn't been cleaned in probably months. anyway, so larry, the landlord, wanted someone to get stuff ready and he gave that job to me. so these past few days i've worked at the church from 8-4 and then at the duplex later in the evening. monday it was just from 6-9, yesterday it was from 7-1030, and tonight it was 530-1130. but i'm getting paid and the worst part (putting kiltz on all the floors where the carpet used to be) is over and next week i'll be able to do cleaning which is a little less harsh on my back.

in the meantime, i'm leaving for albuquerque tomorrow to visit justin and pick up katie from colorado springs on the way.

i don't have much to say so i'll leave it at that.
