Drabble # 320
Konnichi wah!~
here comes another ficlet, which wasn't a dream, but made me realize why I had such dream before @last fic. *laughs* this was what I had in mind before going to sleep that night ~~ ^^"
Summary: Another variety show, this time the guest is Tegoshi.
A/N: It's different from the last fic, still a bit weird as well~! hope you'll still like it.
Tegoshi was nervous. He could feel his hand begin to sweat and his heart race. The blonde singer couldn't believe he actually came here today. This appearance might change everything.
With everything he meant, his life. His everything.
"Everyone please welcome our next guest, Tegoshi-kun!"
"Hello~!" Tegoshi said with a smile.
"Welcome to 'EXPOSED - The Love of My Life' ~ the one and only variety show that reveals everything!"
Tegoshi bowed and took seat on a chair next to a few other people he had never seen before, which made him even more nervous. Soon he was already asked his first question and listened closely.
"Tegoshi-kun, You have found the love of your life, haven't you?"
"Yes."
"That's why we gathered here today, isn't it?"
Tegoshi nodded and everyone clapped.
"To not give away everything from the start we will call that person 'love' alright?"
"Alright."
"So, what do you like about your love?"
"Ah~" Tegoshi sighed, his eyes began to sparkle when he thought about Yamapi. "He is very hard-working and does always give his best. He won't complain about anything or any situation; he will just give it all he has. It's incredible how he will always pull everyone along before a show. His nature makes me want to give it my best as well. Ah, he is always calm and collected, normally nothing would bring him out of control."
"You say, normally?"
"Yes, normally." Tegoshi laughed. "He does have his days though. Then you should try to avoid talking to him for a while." the blonde still chuckled remembering times when he had bugged his love a little too much.
"You still like that about your love, don't you?"
"Yes of course! It makes me love him even more. Also, knowing that when we are together, just the two of us, he can be so different."
"Different how?"
"Mh, different like.. He will listen to what I say more closely, he does nice things to make me happy. Of course I do the same, but whenever he we are alone, he just shows how much he cares, you know?"
"I think I understand."
"There is more," Tegoshi smiled, "I like how he smiles at me without noticing. He just looks at me with that soft and warm smile that melts my heart."
"That sounds very romantic. Is your love romantic?"
"Mh, maybe not so much," Tegoshi laughed, "But the most romantic things are those he does without realizing how romantic they are. To me at least."
"Sounds like a great person!"
Tegoshi nodded wildly. "Ah and I love his muscles, they are amazing!" Tegoshi laughed.
"Would you say that your encounter was anything special?"
"Oh,.. I wonder. It definately was something different."
"Oh it was? Can you tell us about it?"
Tegoshi laughed, "Definately special yeah, come to think about it, yeah actually really special."
"Now you are making us curious~"
"Ehehe, Sorry. Well, I can say that we started of as strangers like many...and we weren't even becoming friends any time soon but there was always just that something about us that we couldn't just keep ignoring so eventually we acted on our feelings."
"Aw, sounds very romantic!"
"It does?" Tegoshi laughed.
"But isn't that how normal relationships form?"
"Mh? I don't know. I never thought about it, it's my first relationship..."
"I see! I see! Would you then say, that its like a fairytale encounter/relationship?"
"I never gave that much thought either, to be honest!" The blonde laughed even more. "But maybe yes. He is definately everything I could imagine and I'll never want anyone else."
"Do you think you'll have a fairytale ending?"
"A.. happy ending? like.. as in 'being togehter forever?"
"Yes, something like a 'happily ever after'.."
"Mh. You never know..but I do believe our bond is very strong."
"So, you want to live happily ever after with your current love?"
"Absolutely. There won't be another love. Not for me. He is the only one."
"Tegoshi-kun, you keep mentioning 'he', does this mean that you are in a relationship with another man?" The host asked curiously.
Tegoshi sighed slightly, nervous to speak but with coming here today he knew that this would be a question and he had prepared himself to say the truth.
"I guess it does." he replied casually and with a smile.
"This is interesting! or should I say, we had not expected this kind of relationship!"
"Is it? How so?" The blonde replied, "It's not unusual is it?"
"Not so much, but you are an idol. We would not have expected an idol to act like this you see."
"This is rather rare then..?"
"Yes, I would say so."
"You also kept mentioning concerts, does this mean that Tegoshi-kun is in a relationship with someone he works with?"
"Possible."
"Would that someone be also a bandmember of NEWS?"
"Also possible."
"Ahh~~" The tv host tried to poke around more but Tegoshi wouldn't just answer with a name or anything like he had wished.
"You see," the blonde spoke casually and still with a smile on his face. "it's not something I chose or got infected with. It's not a choice or illness. It won't hurt anyone or kill me, will it? There is nothing wrong with falling in love with another man. It just happens and you have to make the best out of it, if that someone really means the world to you."
"Well said Tegoshi-kun," The host clapped and so did everyone else in the studio. "So he does? Mean the world to you?"
"He does."
"We are happy to hear that Tegoshi-kun, you too have found The Love of Your Life."
"Thank you." Tegoshi replied and bowed. Everyone continued to clap.
~ Those were the last words Tegoshi could hear clearly before his vision became blurry and he felt his body shake. The blonde wasn't sure what happened; his surroundings slowly blurred out and he heard someone call his name.
As he opened his eyes he found himself lie in bed, covered by white sheets. He lay on his side and felt an arm wrapped around his waist. When he turned around he found a familiar face staring at him and he smiled.
"Ohayou~!" Yamapi welcomed him with a gentle smile.
"Ohayou." Tegoshi replied sleepily. "What are you doing here?"
"I was about to ask you the same mister, it's 4 PM. Why are you sleeping?"
"Oh.." Tegoshi realized he must have fallen asleep a while ago and everything that just happened was only a dream. He sighed releived. "You weren't home as I came back."
"Sorry sweetie," Yamapi said and leant in to kiss the younger's forehead. "That's no reason to be sleeping though." he chuckled.
"Mh, I came and turned on the tv..but when I went to the bathroom I felt too lazy to go back to the sofa, so instead I let myself fall onto your bed..:"
The older man chuckled again, "There is no tv in here."
"I know, duh." Tegoshi laughed, "There was nothing on anyways..."
"So you thought you just sleep?" Yamapi poked the blonde's shoulder with his nose and tightened the hold he had around him.
Tegoshi sighed, "Ne Pi...if someone were to ask you if you had found the love of your life, what would you reply?"
"Mh, love of my life you say?" Yamapi nuzzled into the other's neck, still hugging him tightly from behind.
"Yeah.." the blonde brought his hand around Yamapi's, which held on to his hip.
"What's with that kind of question?" Yamapi asked, placing a kiss on the other's neck.
"Just that dream.. made me think." The blonde replied with a deep sigh.
"Well, I would say that I am holding him close just now." The older man smiled against the younger's skin and kissed his exposed neck once more. Tegoshi felt his heart jump inside his chest; a feeling as if it was about to burst. He smiled to himself and closed his eyes dreamily.
"Ne, love of my life, will you come out of bed now?" Yamapi whispered in the blonde's ear. Tegoshi chuckled lightly, "Do I have to?" he asked sweetly and turned around in Yamapi's embrace.Tegoshi took Yamapi's hand in his and squeezed it lightly. They looked at each other with a smile that showed just how much both men were in love with one another.
"It's still 4 PM and we shouldn't be lazy like that." Yamapi traced the boy's hipbone with his fingers. Tegoshi brought his hand to Yamapi's face and poked his cheek. The older man then leaned in and their lips met in a light kiss.
"Where have you been anyways?" Tegoshi suddenly asked.
"I went to buy some ingredients. Do you want to join me in the kitchen?" Yamapi looked at his boyfriend with hopeful eyes.
"To cook?" The blonde chuckled.
"Of course to cook, silly." Yamapi shook his head and leaned in once more, stealing another quick kiss.
The younger licked his lips, "Thanks, I will pass on that..."
"As expected." Yamapi rolled his eyes, "We should use the kitchen in a more practical way from time to time."
Tegoshi laughed. "Good luck with that."
"I just thought it would be nice to have a proper dinner together, especially since I've been out so much lately."
Tegoshi felt his heart jump at Yamapi's words. "That's very sweet Pi." the blonde said with an expression as if close to tears.
Yamapi shook his head, "Don't give me that kind of face. Just stay in bed and I'll call you when it's done."
Tegoshi bit his lip. "You are the best."
"I know. And you won't ever get rid of me, so don't worry ok?"
Yamapi once more leaned in and caught the younger's lips in a kiss before eventually he disappeared into the kitchen. Tegoshi couldn't believe how amazing his boyfriend was and wished that days like these would never end.
