“They even felt proud of their kind son”- Chinen grinned widely
“Well, it seems like you’re proud of yourself”- Ryutaro murmured while helping Chinen with spreading the futon.
“Huh? It’s you that enticed me to come here to…err…”do homework together”…And when you finished your very-very easy homework, it was too late already. Moreover, it’s raining hard outside! Your parents, your sister and Shintaro aren’t at home, and….”
“…and you don’t want to leave me alone on this stormy night, right? Chinen, you’ve said that many times…Oi! Close that window! Do you want my bed to be soaked by raindrops?”
“Hehe…gomen…Yeah~ you got the point! I won’t let you suffer the rumbles of thunders alone. I’m too kind, aren’t I?”
Ryutaro just kept silent and gave Chinen a weird look. The older boy was opening his mouth and exhaling lightly toward the window, then brought his face forward, until his lips touched the glass.
Ryutaro seemed to be hypnotized as Chinen kept doing like that. Suddenly he heard himself swallowed hard, brought him back to the reality…
“Stop that bizarre act! It’s bedtime already!”
“Hai hai…But... why are you blushing, Ryu-chan?”
“None of your business!”

30 minutes later, Chinen woke up as he felt a hand lift his blanket gently…
“Ryu-chan?”
“Ano… Can I sleep here? It’s quite cold when you lie alone…” Lucky me~ The light was off, otherwise he will see I’m blushing like a tomato
Chinen chuckled once Ryutaro lied comfortably beside him
“Just admit that you are scared of the storm! See, you are so lucky for having me here tonight.”

“Ne Ryu-chan, do you want me to lull you to sleep?”
"Do whatever you want, I just want to sleep.”
Chinen smiled, shifted his body nearlier to Ryutaro, hugged the younger boy lightly and then started singing
