HAPPY 2006! Let's hope it's a good one.
New Year's Resolution One: Sort out bedroom, so click on the link below and help me out!!
http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZtegglesnzQQhtZ-1 Spent 3 hours sorting out pictures and descriptions the other day only to find no bids yet :-( RD books allow you to try out 4 new authors all at once. First Cecelia Aherne book i read was an RD one.
Second NY res is to not stress so much!
Third is to relax and enjoy each day as it comes, not plan too much.
Fourth is to go out more, to stop turning down (infrequent!) invites to go out as it'll be too much, and to go out for say just an hour.
Fifth is to keep going for another 6 months and then I'll have a degree. God, even writing that makes my throat tight as I am so stressed about it (not to self, NY res 2!)
OK well just a quick break as I need ot get Pride and Prejudeice essay finished so I can work on 4,000 experiments in writing piece and 4,000 half draft of dissertation both due in next 3 weeks - AAGH! I really needed those 2 weeks off to relax over xmas but seemed to do far too much and now this is my working week, don't feel too hot. Never mind, am not sick so will just soldier on.
6 months to go, deep breath, 6 months to go...
Oh I forgot, exciting news, sort of, I have a new phone! Decided to treat myself for all sotrs of reasons as my Mum got a new Motorola V3 RAZR and then Lisa got a pink one and i really liked it. Upgraded from PAYG to contract so got it for free plus a really good deal. Spent ages on the net researching it so am mega chuffed, plus bullied them into letting me keep my number! (They - Carphone Warehouse - said o2 PAYg to o2 contract wasn't possible, so i said i'd go elsewhere and miraculously phoned back in 5 mins to say they'd done it ha ha!)
Okies, hope everyone is recovering from over indulgent festive season. I had such a fantstic xmas, i love my family :-) It's weird, my main aim is to be well enough to travel again, but apart from the times when i complain about day to day irritations, I really do have a great family at home, Mum, John, Guy, Lisa and Tim. So xmas and NY was just a big bundle of fun :-)
