Endless Conflagration VS

This mighty weapon of the Dragon-Blooded resembles little more than still-molten
lava that has been coerced into retaining the shape of a sword. Five feet long
and with a visible heat haze surrounding it at all times, Endless Conflagration
feeds on its wielder's power, growing ever stronger as he expends Essence in
battle. Endless Conflagration can only be attuned to by the Terrestrial Exalted,
and has a single hearthstone socket on the crossguard. The VS Magazine slids into the
pommel.
Speed +11 (5), Accuracy +5, Damage +11L, Defence +2, Rate 5 (3), Min. Str ••,
Commitment 8 [or 1 Cartridge/scene], Magazine 8
Endless Conflagration has the following additional powers:
* Every stage of anima activation that the wielder has gone through increases
its base damage by +2L.
* Whenever Endless Conflagration is parried (fully or partially) subtract 2
from the victim's dice pools for the remainder of the turn, as showers of sparks
distract and blind him. This penalty is cumulative in the case of multiple
attacks in a single turn. (Endless Conflagration doubles the onslaught penalty
when the target uses his PDV against it. These penalties are cumulative when used
in a flurry.)
* By spending 7 motes the character can call forth the spirit of the sword
itself as an immense dragon of fire. The dragon will attack any single target
that the character can see, without any restrictions for range. This is treated
exactly as if the character were attacking his target in hand-to-hand combat
except that the damage is doubled before soak is applied.
Velka System is limited to weapons
Artifact Rating 3 store 8 motes
Weapon AIs are more common in Velka-Type weapons than Midchilda weapons,
obviously because it's much easier for them to support the additional cost of
maintaining an AI. That's how the Moe Cartridge was born: a little cylindrical
case for storing variable amounts of Moe.
Along with the blade there was a scroll, detailing the following charm:

In other news not much happened.
-Fern [Megan's Character] revealed herself to be Sidereal Chosen of Secrets, assigned as Liason to the Dragon's Fist from the Bureau of Destiny, and then was taken on a lovely tour of Sijan by Augustus, where no doubt they discussed many things, passing the time pleasantly.
-Erok completed his Jade Perfected Kata Bracers [we revamped crafting] and began design work on a Warstrider.
-Prometheus [Kazuo's Changeling] demonstrated an ability to transmute metals and stone, though not the 5 Magical Materials.
-it was discovered that the Eastern Manse had been attacked by 2 circles of Solars and one Lunar. The attack was beaten back with elan by the Sisters (Tina, Dana, Lana) and the village folk, several of whom displayed Fae-Blooded abilities with support from the Factory-Cathedral's automated Defences.
-Yun'Sol left Sijan for Nexus
-Oberon checked on the training ground in Sijan and trained with Tina[?] at the Eastern Manse
Current game time: roughly mid-summer of RY 770 [two years after canon starting year and 10 days after The Roseblack left Thorns]
