We were granted the protective order. She didn't contest it. I was suprised. She said she didn't agree with it but that she didn't want to fight it. When the judge asked her if she was in agreement for a protective order against her involving a minor she stood there for a little bit before answering and then finally said she was in agreement. I assume she either didn't realize that creates a record for her or she didn't care. She will have to pay the court costs for the order. Again, I am sure she doesn't care. I know that in her head she thinks this means Shelbie can't come to her house but that isn't the case. If Shelbies dad wanted to have her over for the weekend he would either have to take Shelbie to a hotel or Dotty would have to leave her own home. She doesn't care. She basically finally gets to be rid of Shelbie and she managed to completely ruin any chance of a decent relationship between Shelbie and her dad and that is what she has wanted to do for the last 14 years. Tim hasn't even called his own daughter to be sure she is ok. The whole family makes me sick.
It is a good thing she didn't contest it because had she done that there would have been an instant trial with both of us pro se. I would have slaughtered her in questioning. That's for damned sure. She's never been quick enough to keep up with me so that would have just been great.
Bad things come in three and Karma is about to kick in. So I have no worries on that part. As far as I am concerned I hope Shelbie just lets her dad go. I know she's hurt by the fact that he just doesn't care. I 'm going to stop trying to tell her that her dad loves her and so on and so forth. She's old enough to see that he has chosen to leave her behind.
I am hoping to be completely done with them now. I don't see her trying to take me to court to get custody of Shelbie so that she can get Tim out of paying child support. They tried for 8 years to get out of paying it. Since she doesn't care at all about Shelbie at least she will stay away. I seriously want the woman to just leave us alone. It is so sad that she won't let Shelbie have a relationship with her own father but since Tim doesn't have the balls to stand up for himself it is his own fault. I assume he likes being a butler and that he's too slow to realize he's losing the love of his only daughter. So, he will stay in that situation and Shelbie will soon have nothing to do with him.
